The popularity of IT teams skyrocketed during the pandemic, making professionals more than essential pieces of the corporate puzzle.

Being ahead of codes and servers is no longer enough. The leaders of the area must become increasingly involved with the business strategy and respond to the entire production chain’s operations. They become the link that connects a new digital culture with a focus on increasing revenue.

The amount, which previously invested in the maintenance of commercial offices, can be applied in another sector or operations to impact the business positively.

There is no doubt that 2020 was a lesson for all of us. More than a transformative moment, we learned that the search for innovation must be an ongoing task, not just projects in the queue, which are never in the pipeline.

A survey by the company Robert Half, a global human resources consultancy, showed that digital transformation is the main effort of companies to respond positively during the post-COVID-19 period.

According to Fernando Mantovani, general director of the company, among other challenges, the use of new technologies will be vital for the recovery of the industry.

Digital transformation is not just in digital environments; it is in people and the integration of areas. When we listen about cloud migration, operating at a reduced cost is not the only benefit. For the financial area, it could mean a vital spending goal. However, other advantages are security encreasing, greater developer productivity, and speed in processes.
